Jodi Mattson, BSN, RN

Director of Nursing

Jodi is a licensed Registered Nurse with more than 25 years of direct care and administrative experience, Jodi provides critical direction and insight to the staff who deal with some very difficult patients on a daily basis. She is an extraordinary nurse, and requires an equally high standard of care from the nursing staff as a whole. Her knowledge of not only medical issues but her understanding of the dynamics of psychiatric illness lends a balanced and thorough skill base to her work. Jodi has been the Director of Nursing at Cedar Springs since 2001.

Cristina Kolln

Manager of Performance Improvement/Risk Manager

Cristina Kolln joined Cedar Springs in 1999. She began as an assistant to the Director of Nursing, and was then asked to provide assistance to the Performance Improvement Department. She is well versed in regulatory requirements, has developed a rapport with regulatory agents and will contact them to insure that Cedar Springs always remains in compliance with rules and regulations.

Kathy Novak, MA, LPC, CACIII

Senior Director of Patient Admissions & Utilization

Kathy Novak is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a certified addictions counselor (CAC) in both Colorado and Illinois. She has been in the field of substance abuse and mental health for 20 years, from being a counselor to starting a treatment center in a hospital setting. Her master degree is from Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, and believes in the will of people to change for the better. She recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO and joined Cedar Springs in October 2011.

Bristol McFee, MS

Director of Education

Bristol joined the Cedar Springs team in 2008 as the Science teacher at Southgate School, the on-grounds education program. Southgate School provides education for the child and adolescent residential and acute units. After teaching at Cedar Springs for two years, Bristol became the Director of Education. She ensures that the students are getting a quality education that focuses not only on academics, but prepares the students for returning to public school and future job opportunities.

Lynn Hiller

Director of Information Management/HIPAA Privacy Officer

Lynn Hiller, RHIA returned to the Cedar Springs staff for the third time in 2009. She worked her previously 1996-1998 and 2004-2009. With her years at the facility she is very knowledgeable of the Hospital’s history and current services provided. She graduated University of Alabama Birmingham and has over 20 years experience in the Health Information Field. She works with all hospital staff and departments to ensure our patient’s privacy. The Health Information Department she directs provides outstanding services for the hospital and the communities we serve.
