Partial Hospitalization Program for Adults

The Bridge, Cedar Springs’ Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), serves adults living with a wide range of psychiatric and substance use disorders. This highly structured, intensive program is designed for individuals who require more than traditional outpatient services can provide, but who do not require more restrictive inpatient services. Participants attend groups throughout the day and then use the skills they are learning immediately when returning home for evenings and weekends. The program is built on evidenced-based treatments to help individuals achieve their goals and return to their daily activities. The Bridge has several different tracks to tailor treatment to individual needs.

  • Bridge to Stability is for those coping with psychiatric illness. The program provides education and skills to assist them with meeting life’s challenges while coping with mental illness. The program is built on Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR).
  • Bridge to Recovery is for those dealing with both addiction and psychiatric diagnoses or those who need support in living life without substances. The program utilizes SMART Recovery, Relapse Prevention (RP), Seeking Safety (SS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
  • Bridge to Resiliency provides a safe place for trauma survivors to recover from their experiences, gain skills to manage life’s difficulties, and regain their identity in the wake of trauma. The program incorporates Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Resiliency Training, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).

The Bridge provides access to a wide range of unique services, including:
